Hello

Just wanted to share my WIP. :)

I study Architechture in Aalborg, Denmark, and we have been givin this projekt...

We have to build 2 Ateliers as sustainable as posible, for 2 locations in the world. (Mine is Copenhagen and Riyadh)

There is a long list of things we have to consider, when drawing the building, which im not gonna write here.

The buildings is drawn in Revit 2009, exported as FBX files into max. Then rendered with MR.

And I have to say, there have not been any Material correction!

It's pure, import, set the sun, render.

Here is the link to the FBX files(Plus Mats) if anyone wonna play :p:

(You might have to re-link the mats...)

Hope you like it. C&C are very wellcome.

I have to turne in my work in one week.

Well ye... I know it's not "beautiful"...

Thou I am fascinated that a BIM software works that good with max.

It took 5-10 min to produce each image, from i had the the file in revit, until the render was done...

I could have re-materialized the whole sceen to Vray mats, with all the bump and Spec maps for everything.

Put a nice HDRI lighting, combined with some direct lights and some plane lights for the windows.

And then rendered.... But is the time spent realy that good given?

My "old" teatchers can't see the differnt between a crisp Vray, and a semi good MR.

But... I would have liked to link the FBX files.

So if someone had the time to look at the buildings, they might get some good ideas to some rendering angles. Or see some thing that i have missed...

I know there are some architechts on these forums :)
