Tim Saunders
Anyone heard of a Flowrider? I have to do a rendering of a Flowrider we are putting in a Rec Center we are designing. The donor wants to see his name on the wall behind the Flowrider of coarse. My issue is how to create the water flow? Luckily, I only have to do a still image, not an animation of it. I played around with some particle systems, but couldn't get the effect I wanted in the hour I experimented. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get the look of the water in the following images?
Crazy Homeless Guy
If you have access to one, I think I would go take a photo, then comp it in Photoshop. I think you could do a fairly decent job of placing the logo so that it looks as though it is behind it. I fear that trying to set one up to render, tweaking it, and actual render time of it could take a days worth of work, compared to a couple of hours. Tim Saunders
I'm starting to think the same thing. I think that's the only way I will be able to make it look realistic. There is one in a somewhat nearby city (about an hour or so away). Google searches may suite my needs too.
kainoa
I live down the road from the water park in your first pic. I got an annual pass for me and the kids too. If for some reason you can't find the pic you need, I can offer to go down and snap some (i have a Canon 40D with 10-20mm). However, you'll need to wait till Saturday. Good luck! Tim Saunders
I made it work with what I could find on google. It's not awesome, but it will work. I'm sure I'll be switching about 10 different company logos. The purpose is to get funding. This was fun. I don't usually do stuff like this. Thanks for the help.
