max.m
hi, i have a view questions to optimise my viewport performance i have a dell t7400 with a quadro fx4600. since a view days i use the direct3d driver. i saw that there are many adjustments possible - are some of the usefull or should i let them on default? mousescroll: can i define that the adaptive degredation also works when i zoom with mousescroll, and where can i adjust the degree of zooming by turning the mousewheel one notch?(the mouse properties in the control panel do not seem to influence it) Edited September 24, 2008 by max.m

mattclinch
MAXtreme drivers are special D3D drivers by nVidia for use with Max. http://www.nvidia.com/object/maxtreme_archive.html
max.m
called dell again, they told me that the drivers from their homepage are not maxtreme drivers, so i will try them. thanks for the advices mattclinch. what`s left is the question if i can define that zoom with mousscroll also uses adaptive degradation, is this possible?
