kbotnen
Hi. As part of learning and establish some knowledge in the profession of arch viz I have worked with a "office building". Now I have reached the point that I dont know if there is more to put into the scene. Or what to put in if anything. In search for good ideas and critiques on the images (two different camera angles) I post it here. The render settings are on "low", and I have some problem with a white shiny light spot in front of the building on one of the images. I also recognize that the background is too high, leaving a black spot between the skies and the scenery, thats just a mistake when changing camera angle and will easily be corrected The skies are choosen to be artish because of lack of good enivironment pictures that would else fit the scene. Dont have the skill or time to model up the environment too, but maybe I have to do it anyway? The house are a Revit modell I created as part of "learning Revit", trees are xfrog and vechicles are from the turbosquid free section. Imo the cars are the weakest link so far, and I am planning to get rid of the weakest one and find better to put in instead. Pictures are here: http://www.visualisere.org/office_building.html CC are very welcome -K-
yorik
Hi Kristian, I think this is not bad at all, if you are new at arch viz... I think you saw yourself what points you can make better. My opinion is that the overall look of the images is a bit "flat", and don't help much the building... Usually those images are made to present a project, so you must help the project to look at his best... For example, in the first image you have trees masking almost all the building, so one could ask "what is that image for?", and in the second one, it looks like a bit sad building, with no light inside... I would try to put some more life in there... Light, brighter reflexions, more contrast, people, etc... Hope it helps!
