plastic Posted December 16, 2002 Share Posted December 16, 2002 don't collapse the modifier stack as long as you want to change the mesh topology. collapsing it will 'burn' the uvw map onto the object, it wont auto-update itself anymore. like any other collapsed modifier. Guz Posted January 31, 2003 Share Posted January 31, 2003 Yeah, if you want to edit the mesh with the correct mapping, you have to let UVW applied. If you collapse, it will let the setting as is and will just be deleted. Make sure you apply all your modifications first and then collapse the layers.
