uvw map problem

hello.

when i mapping an object with uvw-map

and then collapse the object, if i will

move vertex or polygon the uvw will destroyed.

how can i move a vertex without destroying the

uvw mapping

don't collapse the modifier stack as long as you want to change the mesh topology.

collapsing it will 'burn' the uvw map onto the object, it wont auto-update itself anymore. like any other collapsed modifier.

Yeah, if you want to edit the mesh with the correct mapping, you have to let UVW applied. If you collapse, it will let the setting as is and will just be deleted. Make sure you apply all your modifications first and then collapse the layers.
