Max and fR transfer - CRASH!

HELLLLLLLP!

I recently transferred max & it's license over to my new machine. I was lazy and used it in the grace period for about 5 days - everything worked great. When I got to the point that I needed fR over there too, I went through the portable licensing utility, transferred the license and got the new max auth code from autodesk. Then I tried bringing fR over (used ALL latest releases of both max and fR). I followed the steps as best as they were explained on the cebas and trinity3d sites and still had no luck. Tried using my existing DAT file to authorize fR, and it didn't work. Went through the authorization request process again, got the new DAT file from cebas and now - when I expected to get the authorization prompt when using a fR element, it doesn't give me one. It lets me place the light, use the feature, whatever..., but just renders out an "unlit" scene. Now, when I open the mat editor and try to change ANYTHING (select a map, material type, etc...) max freezes. What the !@#$?

Tried contacting cebas again, but because of the time difference - I probably won't hear anything til next week. Anybody have ANY suggestions? Can I uninstall fR and reinstall it? I hope it's just fR thats causing the material editor problem - don't have time to troubleshoot much more than that...

Thanks in advance -
