Ky Lane
Would love to get my hands on the scene to have a play.. shame we couldnt get it sorted, sounds very odd to me. Even tried bunging a light in there?
kippu
i would try doing this ..stick a camera facing that wall and calculate some irrmaps and then merge them to the bigger irrmap and see if that solves that problem... or maybe the scene is just too far from the origin...that has bummed me a few times too ..i get black faces
sideshow tpc
hey thanks heaps to everyone that tryed to help....unfortunatly with too many other jobs on with tight deadlines I just had to settle with using a different cam angle....thats worked good enough considering this isnt one of the more important shots anyways... Tommy L
Did you select the sub-object and delete the smoothing group?
sideshow tpc
Did you select the sub-object and delete the smoothing group? will certainly try that....just have too much else on atm to be experimenting...but really want to suss out what is causing that coz I'd be screwed if i was in a spot where I couldnt just change cam angles... got 4 jobs on that need atleast a minute of footage each due in bout 3 weeks...no sleep and lots of beer should see me through... Thanks again guys for all ya suggestions....
