Gander0
Hi folks, Ive seen a couple of nice chairs on the forum recently and as I had some downtime I thought I would give one a go. This is a base render so no post production as of yet. I will probably blur out the background and maybe attempt to accentuate creases in chair fabric as an excercise. Anyway opinions are much appreciated. Cheers in advance
SandmanNinja
random observations: * Nice clean room * nice contact shadows from the chair * very nice, fancy chair design! Looks very ritzy * the cushion looks almost too thick, but I have seen some pretty thick chair seats * I added an AO layer to really bring out the creases in a leather chair I did once - and it looked really good * Very well done
Gander0
Cheers for that! Cushion is fat, but maybe it looks too fat because I havnt made it look soft enough, needs plumping maybe? Anyway, another day for that i think. Cheers for the AO tip, will give that a try!
ankit4d
Chair looks good and inviting but the cushion appears to be thick.
MrCAD
the chair looks good overall..but I feel the side and back black framing looks a bit smaller in proportion..it needs to be a bit more thicker...and should add some side cloth padding..giving a sponge feeling...some more creases could give it some life too...
