Devin Johnston
When I try to move an object in my scene, it moves thousands of feet instead of just a few. I have no idea how or why this is happening, anybody have any ideas?
Devin Johnston
Never mind, I restarted Max and it fixed its self.
Crazy Homeless Guy
I have this problem occasionally also, and use the same solution you do. I am not sure what I am doing that causes it to start.
Ky Lane
Is it on objects imported from another package? I have that problem with DWG's imported from Revit. Gets very frustrating.

I think mine relates to objects created in Max. I can create a an object, and all of the sudden it starts to a distance at an exponential distance, instead of just following the movement of my mouse. Meaning, I I try to slide it 10 feet, it may wind up 100 feet away. If I try to slide an object 20 feet, it may wind up 400 feet away.
