Stan Zaslavsky
not quite that steep a hill - but still a bit of terrain work in suburban melbourne look forward to your critiques - i'm still well in WIP max 09, mr as renderer, preset daylight mode with a sky
Elbereth
Try to add some details in your work: 1) add bump on roof texture 2) add bump and color variety to grass 3) sun must be more bright and environment GI must be more blue 4) add reflections on glass material I think it will be good work:)
Elbereth
Oh, and another thing. Try to change Texture Blur parameter - from 1,0 to 0,1. All textures will look more than better!
Stan Zaslavsky
privet irina - spasibo za kommentarii .. i'll try them out - i'm not sure about the bump and variety to grass - do you mean adding extra grass as a model or changing the actual texture that i already have? it sounds interesting about the Texture Blur - i'll check it out. thanks again, cheers
Elbereth
Hi Stan ))) There is many people at this forum who understands Russian. Do you speak Russian? If yes, I can write comments on it. I mean changing actual texture, what do you think about? Please look on this pic (grass - texture+displace): Some color variety of grass and greenery color make pic more interesting, what do you think? ankit4d
the global illumination solution is more than the sun light. It is making a low contrast and dull effect. add some reflection to glass.
Stan Zaslavsky
hi irina, i do speak it - but for the benefit of others reading this who are english speakers only - let's keep the thread in english. did the grass/texture/displace technique make the whole rendering take much longer time? you have nice trees in that image - are they models or photoshopped in later? Stan, trees are models, without any PS. Grass with displace renders a little longer. All pic was rendered in 15 minutes
Stan Zaslavsky
fantastic - i must try this grass technique out next time. any particular brand of models of the trees? i'm using Dosch garden designer and they render well, but close up detail is a bit average.
