dynaman
hey guys, anyone know of a good resource for PEOPLE that can be used in renderings? i'm looking for something very scene specific - an elderly woman lying in a bed. could be 3D or 2D for composite, doesn't really matter. any suggestions would help immensely. thanks
Jim Mann
I like to use the Metropoly people with mocap http://www.axyz-design.com/ They do have some oldies but might not be quite what you are looking for. Jim
Devin Johnston
I agree AXYZ has about the best 3D people out there right now, they aren't very good for up close viewing but medium to far distances they work out great.
dynaman
thanks guys. i did end up using some metropoly people - was the only way i could get someone in the position i needed for the image. they aren't great, but sometimes you have to make do. the search continues... Andres del Castillo
I like Rocketbox libraries, write this in the google. Sorry, because I can't write links after 10 posts. The models has 3 resolution modes, and difusse+normals+speculars maps at high res.

Nice, especially the bundled mocap...but $3599 would mean that you need to be doing a lot of animations each year to cover the cost. Its a shame they don't sell them individually or in smaller packets instead of in a big pile. Jim
