Crazy Homeless Guy
Has anyone dealt with this format, or know what it is? We are pursuing a job, for which plans exist, but we only have prints of. We found a place where we can purchase plans of the building in this format, but we don't know if this is a raster or vector format.
John Dollus
Not familiar w/LDW format but could you call the place who is selling it and ask them if it's raster or vector? I would be willing to bet it's a digital archive format and is probably raster.
Crazy Homeless Guy
That worked, at least kind of. I guess the files are raster, but they did offer to convert them to vector for a fee. They would be using an application to rip the scanned drawings to vector. We passed on that option. I am afraid that the drawings would be off perpendicular, or the measurement off in one direction or the other, causing more work in the end.
