jcsDesigns Posted October 14, 2008 Share Posted October 14, 2008 He guys Please see pic attached, I am just lighting the scene with vray plane lights at either end of the building and nothing else at the min, does any know why my test renders are looking like this? my settings are as follows: Image Sampler: AQMC, Catmull Roll Adaptive rQMC: mIN 1 max 4 GI: Iradiance Map & Light Cache Light Cache:- 1500 Sample Size: 0.001 Colour Maping: Reinhard Iradiance Map is set to high Any help would be just great Thanks Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
STRAT Posted October 14, 2008 Share Posted October 14, 2008 you need to up the AA considerably, and the lights need a lot more samples, either via the DMC sampler or individually. why render with such low samples and AA, yet your gi settings are well over the top? But if you don't want to increase rendertimes, and as you're using high IM preset, you can try to check ON in your vray plane lights the option : "Store with irradiance map" This will blur a little the GI, but remove grain a lot...
