chow choppe
Hi everyone I have a quick query Our client is asking us to render an animation at a widescreen size so he said to use PAL widescreen, pixel aspect 1.42, 25 Fps, image aspect 16:9, 720 X 576 Now when i put these settings in max render size and turn on show safe frame i get nice widescreen ratio in the viewport but when i render it i am getting a more aquarish render.? whats wrong? what size shud i be rendering at to fulfil client's requirement. when i input these settings in after effects for composing the video i again getting more squarish compostion on screen and not the widescreen look.please help Edited October 17, 2008 by 3dsmaxed
William Alexander
Try setting the pixel aspect to 1 or 1:1. If the client requested a 1.42 pixel aspect you can give that to them out of AE at 1.42, creating a sqaure image from your widescreen. It's a compression thang
