hippiearchitect Posted October 21, 2008 Share Posted October 21, 2008 Got a question I know there is a way to do a single axis lookat constraint but for the life of me I cant seem to figure it out right now! I have a camera moving around up and down left and right and I want a plane to look at that camera but only rotate in the z axis not the x or y, how do I set that up? mattclinch Posted October 21, 2008 Share Posted October 21, 2008 if i recall, i ran into some issues here. i think we ended up linking the plane to a dummy with only the z rotation unlocked in the link info, then gave the dummy a lookat constraint to the camera. thinking about it now, it might have been the reverse order - camera lookat to dummy, then link to plane.
