Mario Madzarov
Hi, I need help with filling the void between two buildings. I have an exam tomorrow on the university and I have a job like that. They gave us 2 buildings random buildings (so we can choose what kind of buldings they will be, I choose the first building to be Mall and the second to be Cinema - Entertainment Center smth like that) so we've got a void between these 2 buildings and I have to use it in the most proper way it should be used. So I need to connect these 2 buildings smth like air enterance or smth some abstract horizontal connection. Between these 2 buildings I have a park area so it can be smth which will symbolize that there's a park behind or smth. I also need a vertical connection on them for tomorrow. Thanks in advance -Mario Madzarov
chiquito
Try creating a dry expansion place, ex foyer, nocturnal exhibitions, walking art galleries, bars, diferent levels activieties, access ramps to buildings, Bridges connecting buildings, lagoons, etc post image
SandmanNinja
I did an exercise where I had two identical buildings with a space between them. I put an "Eco Friendly" area there - some grass, shrubs, couple of tall trees that mimic'd the two buildings that towered over them, some park benches, and a water feature. I reasoned that the great expanse of parking lot, footpaths, etc - all that concrete - needed something to offset it. Plus, how great would it be to work in a place that had a nature place to retreat to on your lunch breaks?

sonymokash
The void between two buildings is kept to maintain the distance and to get rid of the terror of earthquakes. The void is the gap in the buildings the smart constructors do this to provide safety to their costumers. SandmanNinja
Things I see in/near/between buildings when I go into Melbourne: benches trees statues abstract "art" I'm fond of wanting those areas to be Eco areas - to help offset all the concrete and smog.
