Guest Lester Masterson
Stumped. Can anyone let me know what settings are required (if it is possible) to have an environment map reflect when using Radiosity? Sample image below has glazing with 30% raytrace (I even tried 100%, but looked stupid) Help? http://www.cgarchitect.com/forum/filepush.asp?file=WIP1_5.JPG
Ernest Burden III
I have always put a map onto a dome so it would reflect. But there is an environmental option in the textur alignment--but I've given it a try. So I am wondering with you. But the dome idea works well, make it a block and you can rotate it on Z axis to get alignment you want.
Guest Lester Masterson
Thanks...but I mistakenly posted this question here and not in 3DMax where it belongs. Thank you for the suggestion though..should I ever start using Lightscape again. Cheers
