Craig Ramsay
I have a flat surface in my scene with a 300dpi image mapped onto it. It renders really nice but I need to align the map with objects in my scene. The problem is that the material is displaying in the viewport at a very low resolution (very pixelated) so it's extremely difficult to see what is going on. Is there any way to increase the display resolution of a map in the viewport? Cheers Craig
STRAT
not really, even if you have a good open gl card. goto TOOLS > OPTIONS > VIEWPORTS and configure your display driver there to the highest settings. you may also find changing your map down to 72 dpi for this purpose works better also. quizzy
Or do it the other away around...match the objects with the map and (if possible) camera match it, and use the 300dpi pic as background... you can set the resolution of your background in: CUSTOMIZE->VIEWPORTS TAB->VIEWPORT PARAMETERS->UNCHECK "LOW-RES ENVIRONMENT BACKGROUND" have fun
