Rankiad
Hi guys, here's a small bathroom from my house, just practicing on how I want it to look in the future. Your critiques are very helpful.
little-isa
Things that I notice are the shelves, they look like they are of the wall and the shadows do not look right. Remember that glass is transparent the light should go through. Just my $0.
Rankiad
Yeah I just noticed, I moved the shelves a bit more towards the wall and still shows the gap after rendering. I'm only using one omni light, have the shadows at 0.8 with dark gray color but still getting that strong shadow even if the shelves are transparent. Any suggestions?? kaz031
I would re-think the camera angle. Maybe pull the camera target up a bit and if you don't see the toilet or floor, change the format of your render to a long portrait view. Also up the polys of your basin and toilet roll. Hope this helps:)
little-isa
Rankiad, use ray tracing shadows it will take a little longer to render but it will give you a more realistic finish. Let me know how it turns out
