amer abidi
Dont know if you seen this, way cool stuff... yes but did you read the comments at the bottom of the page, nobody seemed to like it. well how boring would it be to watch a holographic projection on tv as opposed to experiencing it in reality? I too thought it was uneffective in that all it seemed like it was was a badly composited image (since it wasnt experienced firsthand)
AJLynn
I had far too long a conversation with somebody who was trying to convince me that, yes, that really was a holoprojector and not a poor compositing job. On the basis that the compositing technology shouldn't be able to work in near-real-time, so it was the holoprojector that was the more feasible technology. Needless to say, the conversation was with a theoretical mathematician.

rktect3j
Great idea. Looked like hell. Should have waited on that one. But then the next election was 4 years away. JMHO.
Sawyer
But thank god it was a hologram because it was so much more effective than having say a primitive split screen image. Imagine that. Election coverage without a hologram would just be pointless.
