hi i'm new here, and i'm wondering if anyone can pls pls teach me just the basics of how to use 3d max.. i just need to learn it for my upcoming school plates and of course the big thesis... by the way, i am a 4th year in architecture student..

 

can i create the model at sketchup then rendes at 3d max?

 

pls pls.... just the basic things i need to be able to produce perspectives for my plates...

the tutorials that come bundled with max are perfect for teaching you the basics of max in easy to understand format :)

 

Sketchup is also an option open to you. again, check the basic start up tutorials.

 

these forums aren't here to give you straight out of the box tuition ;)

If u go to the home page of this website and look for the VISUALIZATION INSIDER, you're gonna find lots of cool stuff related to architectural visualization. As Stephen just mentioned, the tutorials that come with MAX are pretty clear and at an adequate level for the beginner. Good luck.

hey natalie. im mervin and im a filipino as well. so you're a fourth year student. i can help you if you like to learn max. most especially "vray rendering". you're welcome anytime if you wanna ask something at least to the extent of what i've learned so far:).
