rubent100
Hello all, Im having this problem were no light shines through the windows. I have set up multiple settings on longitute and latitiue, rotated my geometry, and nothing seems to work. Here is an image of what is happening. So there is light coming through but i cant see it out of the window. It should be very bright white. Also there is a MXM glass material on the window panes, but even if i remove them it still doesn't show. I know if i add dome light it will work, but it should also work with physical sun and sky. amer abidi
what do yo umean by invinsible light? sorry i didnt realize the post was under maxwell thread. I have no experience in maxwell, but in other renderers. you have the option to set your lights as to whether they are "visible to camera" or not. Bwana Kahawa
I've sometimes had this - it doesn't show up in the MX Studio viewport either? Found the only solution is to re-export it, or else load a default sky once I'm in Studio and then change the parameters to match what I want. As long as you see a blue sky in the viewport, you should then see it in your scene. Yet another of Maxwell's 'quirks'...

But i do see the sky in the viewport and not in my render. I'm not really sure what is going on. This alone has lead me to stop using maxwell to render. I wish there was a solution to this. I'll keep trying to find a solution i guess.
