Francois
Furniture... Hi I am a product designer and I use Rhino all the time. It is extremely accurate, although it is difficult to make soft surfaces (drapes, Cuschion, etc with folds) Excellent for curved stuff like armature and so on. You can use real dimension like in Autocad. Good luck. François Canada
Guest info@hybridvigour.co.za
Fellow Users, Recently I was asked to model and render a few pieces of furniture for a friend. This saves huge amounts of time in regards to building an actual prototype, so modeling and rendeing seemed the logical solution. Rendering is not the issues though...it's the modeling. What would be the best method to use to create something like a couch? I'm pretty compitent @ boxmodelling & patches, but can't seem to get the necessary accuracy I need. Any proposals? P.S. I do have 2d Autocad drawings of the piece.
Guest info@hybridvigour.co.za
Ok, ok........here it is. After endless trouble with my ISP I have at last managed to post the image of the couch at hybrid vigour. Hope it works this time around!
