lewor21
Hey guys, I recently upgraded from Max9 to Max2008 and I'm having problem with the Environment Map (Use Map) when I use the new mr Photographic Exposure. I cannot see the background Map even in all viewport, it's all black (refering to the background) and what's confusing is even if I uncheck the Use Map and change the Background color to pure white, it's still black in the rendering. And when I use the "Logarithmic Exposure", my background is there. Does anybody knows what might the problem is? Is there connection with the daylight system (it's parameters) or the mr Photographic Exposure. Though, I guess, I tried changing every parameters of each but still. Any Help? Thanks... Tommy Burns
Hi there In your Environment rollout in exposure area change your physical units to 90000 and then change the output of your hdri to maybe 10-50. The later can be done if you drag the map into the material editor as an instance. Hope this helps same thing annoyed me for a while.
