sleipnir
I'm trying to open a file done on a different computer containing xrefs scenes and it crashes (unless I open it on the original computer), I thought it could be fixed setting the xref paths correctly on the new machine, I've done so but It keeps crashing. Any ideas how to fix this problem? thanx
Crazy Homeless Guy
Do the computers have the same amount of RAM? What about video cards?
sleipnir
Basically yes, they both have 4gb RAM, the original computer has a GeForce 8800gs and the other one is a laptop with a GeForce 8600 gs. Both systems have the same plugins. The scene itself is not a big deal (around 6mb compressed), a simple 4 storey building with each floor loaded as a xref scene. I can open all the storeys separately with no problem, the only one that crashes is the base floor where all the xrefs are loaded.
sleipnir
Both computers have separate licenses (I owe just one of them).
