bobbyrtaylor
I wonder why any one haven't made a detail multi-hours DVD Tutorial for Maxwell Render Studio and/or plugins. Does NextLimit have restriction on other people outside Think Maxwell Render in making tutorials DVDs. This is a open market that can be monopolize by someone who's willing and able to produce such video DVDs. I know about Think Maxwell Render it's not the same. Can someone answer the call please. bobbyrtaylor
Maybe this is why there haven't been any is because Maxwell Render is unteachable Here is one good short Video set on modo to Maxwell Render. 5 Stars https://vandigital.com/ Bobby Edited December 2, 2008 by bobbyrtaylor
Devin Johnston
I'm not sure what you mean by saying Maxwell is unteachable, there are quite a few people who are using it successfully and they had to learn how to use it from somewhere. The program isn't very complicated to begin with; creating most materials can be accomplished very easily or can be downloaded. The engines controls are very simple so you don't have to fiddle around with endless options to get a good result. The only difficult part is learning the new terminology and maybe Studio but you can say that about any engine. If I were you I wouldn’t wait around for a DVD to start learning Maxwell, you may be waiting a long time. What is it that's stumping you?

Maxer I'm not questioning its usage in the Pro field. What I'm saying is that if there's not One DVD or multi hour training available online for sell unless I go to Maxwell Render Training CERTIFIED COURSES. Which are overseas. Even Digital-Tutor doesn't have any on Maxwell Render. Bobby
BrianKitts
The answer that pops in to my head for your question is it's not a widely marketable product. It's like asking how come there are no MS Paint tutorial videos. Well it's because there isn't a large enough user base to justify making a tutorial for the product, when you would make a larger sum of money selling a Photoshop tutorial. Now there are probably a good handful of users that would enjoy seeing a comprehensive Maxwell DVD, myself included. But if you listen to next limit pitch the product it's dead simple to use you don't need any rendering knowledge to operate the product...And well NextLimit is infallible and if you don't think so you've never seen them pitch their own product It's really not an intensely complicated product to use so perhaps no one has thought that it warrants a tutorial DVD. Once you get through the basics the only thing intense about the product is the render times. Edited December 3, 2008 by BrianKitts
