Peter M. Gruhn
When I send a C4D scene to MXCL for render the Multilight Emixes is always empty. Is it possible to use Multilight with C4D scenes or only with MXSTUDIO scenes? Works for me with 3ds Max. You must have multiple lights. I can't test right now as Max is doing a render that I will not interrupt, but... If you have only one emitter you will not get multi-light. "Hey, there aren't multiple lights it makes no sense to try to control all of... it." "But," you may say, "I DO have multiple lights." Ah, but do you have only one emitter? I think, and I could be wrong, you'll find that the multi-light channels are per emitter. So if you make "My 60W Emit" and put it on 1000 bulbs in a room then you will not get the multi-light option. This leads to an aside - if you are applying one emitter to multiple objects, iiuc you need to multiply the brightness of that emitter by the number of things emitting it. Say (making stuff up here) that the 60W is 100 flubens bright. You want to use that one material on 3 bulbs in your scene. Then you need to go to the material definition and find the "brightness" knob and set it to 300 flubens in order for your room to have the correct amount of light in it. At least, I think that's the story. At least, I think that it's this renderer.
