Rendermedia
Hi alll I have a file from a client who makes steel frames for buildings, the file is a .bsw file that can only be viewed in a 3d viewer called StruCAD model viewer Is there a way I can get this file into 3DSmax, I have Polyboost but even that cannot read the file, Kind Regards Mark
Stephen Thomas
I'm fairly sure you can export dwg files from StruCAD, but you wouldn't be able to do that from the viewer software. You will need to contact the guy who supplied the file and ask for a dwg version if possible.
Conor Clancy
Sorry to resurrect this old thread, but is there any updates to this particular issue in the last couple of years? I need to get a Strucad model into MAX and I cannot find a convertor tool. Struwalker only exports the file as a 2D DWG file, not a 3D model. But I need the 3D model. Anybody?
