tom10
Can anyone help me please. I produce my architectural models using archicad and then import into c4d. I have been using cinema for about 5months now. I often have problem with applying lighting so if anyone could offer any advice on how to light a 3d floor plan model that would be great. I have attached a image that i found on the internet as an example of the term 3d floor plan. Regards Tom Edited December 5, 2008 by tom10
gdrakakis
hi, if you watch it carefully you'll notice that there more lights than the sun. it seems to me that the project was set-up for interior shots (every room has it's setup) and then it was rendered with the roof "not visible by camera". this is what happens when the ceiling is set to off! gdrakakis
Oh ok, is that just one ambinet light then and the Ambient Occl turned on in the render settings? Thanks for your help Tom yes, you can try one (or more) medium to dark gray colored ambient light with shadows on. depending on the scene you may even get a faked AO. regards, george
