vru
Hi Does anyone here use the photometric lights in 3ds max for realistic lighting?? Like for lightig analysis or just true light effect without faking any shadows etc. Does it work? Can anyone please throw some more light on this topic... Thanks Vru
Woody79
yes, you can down load ies files from such companies as erco... then the light has real world values, and correct fall off and scallops on the wall. very usefull lights, especially the strip lights. but to make them work well a good knowledge of radiosity and using the exposure control is needed. abicalho
I don't know why you mean MAX cannot be used for Analysis. See my post on that topic. Alexander
