malevy
Has anyone upgraded the student version of 3ds max perpetual license to a full commercial license ? just wondering its only $1200 for the upgrade versus 4000 for the new license and it appears to be the exact same thing as the commercial license. Not everyone sells the upgrade to commercial just one or two educational dealers that i have found sell it. so 1600 total investment instead of 4000 is not a bad deal. i wish they offered the same deal with autocad. malevy
No this is an upgrade from student to full commerical license thats why it is 1200 and not 300. You cannot upgrade from a student version to a normal verison of max. Because with a student verison you don't get all the files the student one only last a year. then you've got to buy the full verison of max. with the student verson there are limts you cannot sell any of your models or anythig like that
kevin3600
Hey Marc, Just curious to see if you had any success upgrading the student version of Max to a commercial version - I have seen the same offer in a few different places. malevy
Yes i upgraded the student version perpetual license to the full commercial version with no problem its alot cheaper then buying the full package. You must be a student in college that has graduated.
