Jim Mann
Has anyone found a way to use a sky mapped to a sky dome in conjunction with radiosity and exposure control. I either get a black or very dark sky using logarithmic and linear control respectively. I have done all the usual stuff like make the dome non-occluding, tried making the sky self illumintaing and exluded the dome from the advanced lighting calculation but to no avail...it still looks awful. If anybody knows how I can recapture control and render this element without the exposure control settings affecting it I would be extremely grateful. Thanks in advance Jim
abicalho
Adjust the Physical Scale of the Exposure Control to match the brightest object in the scene. Hope this helps, Alexander
Jim Mann
Thanks Alexander, Worked perfectly once I followed your advice. The colours were a little oversaturated but I toned that down by reducing the maps RGB level. Thanks again, Jim
