ezb
I'm working on an interior rendering of a lecture auditorium that will be utilizing several different types of lighting. I would like to use IES photometric webs for the light casting. Because the design of the space is still in the early stages of development, I do not have specifics on the light fixtures. Does anyone have a recommendation for a good lighting mfg. website that offers a broad variety of downloadable IES files? Thanks
Stephen Thomas
http://www.zumtobel.co.uk/gb/en/photometric_f.htm http://www.thornlighting.com/com/en/index.htm http://www.colorkinetics.com/support/ies/ http://www.erco.com/index.htm There's a few to get you started, most of those also offer 3d models of the associated fixtures as well. ezb
One more thing.... In MAX you have the option to select a photometric template at the top of the modifier panel. The selection of templates is fairly limited. Has anyone come a cross templates to add to that selection set? Thanks
kbotnen
The templates are really just IES files located in the max directory I think. "\Autodesk\3ds Max 2009\sceneassets\photometric" Nice links btw. I will provide a couple extras from my bookmark list. http://www.holophane.com/default.asp and http://www.lithonia.com/ -K-
