I just bought a new hp laptop, with good specifications I hope.. but it working just with vista, I was happy cause vista is different and charming...etc.., though I heard some (not good) things about it, I took the risk..till I discovered that they were right..I found that I have problem in downloading many softwares, and the big disaster is (VRAY), I can't resist this specifically.. Anyhow, I hope if anyone can give me any advice in this problem, I'll be very greatfull:confused: Is there a specific vray version for vista for example? if so, from where I can buy it?? arkinel
Congratulation on your new laptop! sorry for not updating my psot i been very busy for a while and don't have time to play around. well, before you install the vray plugins..first go to your windows administrator user account and go to the "Turn User Account Control On and Off" - be sure to turn it off. i think that will fix all the installation problems. cheerss... shikodesign2000
Hi my firends, Just want to tell you that I installed vray sp2 for max2009 on my new vista..this was a bad problem but thanks GOD for this result and for your help ofcourse. Just some comments, I hope to help also: 1-When download max 2009 check 32 bit, not 64 bit. 2-When download max, make this in the folder: program files(x86), not program files only. 3-Don't change the path of the vray components when installed, it will go to program files(x86)...so things will match. 4-The rest steps are as usual, copy dll and dlr...restart.. I hope these steps can be helpfull for you..
