Magnus_Alexander
I managed to pull myself away from my computer long enough to grab some food from subway, and noticed a wall behind the counter that was covered in a rough textured, brick patterned wallpaper. What were my first thoughts? 1)They could really use a displacement map on that wall.... and 2)They need to adjust their mapping as well. A 3d geek without rest is a dangerous thing.... kinda like the time I got into an accident on my bike and my first thought was "ctrl+z."

Paul Twyman
Ha ha. Thinking about clicking undo for things I do in the real world is something i'm starting to do more often. Very scary
BrianKitts
I'm afraid sometimes it has nothing to do with lack of sleep.... but more of a sign that you've been doing this for too long..... we were out the other night and I made the comment that they really need to adjust the exposure level in the room, the girlfriend just looked at me puzzled and said "you mean turn up the lights right?" I forced myself not to explain to her how I really don't use the lights anymore to adjust the overall lighting for the fear of geeking out on her. Horhe
Several times I started to explain some issues like how GI works in real life, as well as other items including poly modelling vs nurbs to my 'non cg' friends. And I was almost thrown out from the party..........several times LOL. Edited December 15, 2008 by Horhe
