ihabkal
Hi Friends, I found this http://www.hayekgroup.com/ the third image on the left, the interior with the indecent lady. I have a magazine from these people that has that image printed on a full page. Is this taken from Neoscape, Spine3D...etc.? From whom? I am pretty sure it was published and printed without permission. Do you know who did that so that I can let them know?
STRAT
Is this taken from Neoscape, Spine3D...etc.? From whom? ? what makes you say that? I am pretty sure it was published and printed without permission. and what makes you say that too? Do you know who did that so that I can let them know? it's a bit presumptuous on your side as you dont know the ins and outs of the contract under which this image was produced. The client whom distributed this image might have the full right to do so.
AJLynn
You can tell that the lady is indecent? She's like 4x3 pixels. That firm is in real estate and rendering is not in their list of services. They're not claiming to have done that image but showing off properties in their portfolio - which is what the real estate people do with the renders. ihabkal
You can tell that the lady is indecent? She's like 4x3 pixels. OH I can tell it is my special thing. I have seen this before on a US website, a famous rendeirng firm, but I forgot where.
STRAT
she's actually wearing a swim suit. which is quite logical.
Jeff Mottle
I am pretty sure it was published and printed without permission. Do you know who did that so that I can let them know? As others have said, I would be careful about who you go around publicly accusing of theft unless you have some info to back up your accusations. It seems perfectly logical to me that a real estate developer would have renderings of real estate on their site. It's also quite possible they own the rights to that image as they could have commissioned it.
Gus_Rayvus
That image is being used legally. Jeff, I sent you an email with some more details.
Jeff Mottle
Thanks Pete. For Ihab, this rendering was created by dbox. Pete works for them.
ihabkal
sorry I wasted my time, I was only trying to protect a fellow artist and didn't anticipate such an attack for it. Dbox should have provided their client with a higher resolution rendering for print, the A4 size print in the magazine I have is so pixellated, I would swear they took a 600 pixel wide image from Dbox website and blew it up to print size. it is noisy, blurred, and pixellated. Plus Lebanese "clients" are famous for taking other people's work and publishing it without permission which raised my doubts, and they usually don't like to pay the premium for such good renderings. Plus the background in the image is not Beirut (it shows more in my A4 size magazine). that's what I get for getting involved in the community again and trying to protect a fellow artist from greedy Lebanese "busienssmen". Jeff Mottle
I know it's not like this everywhere in the world, but for those who replied we are used of "innocent until proven guilty"

Jeff Mottle
Does guantanamo bay mean anything to you? Sure, but I don't see how that applies here and I think you knew what I was getting at anyway.
