carlos_ramiro
Hi Does anybody knows how to fit this problem? I'm using a standard material, with brick map on the difuse slot. The brick map only have color for brick texture and color on the mortar texture. Also, the vertical gap is nule on the mortar. The other settings are default. My problem is in some areas (see the red circle) the vertical gap on the mortar is... ¿interrupted? I'm using vray. thanks in advance http://www.cgarchitect.com/forum/filepush.asp?file=detalle_ladrillos_1.jpg
erleo
I don't know if you already have tried this: >> When applying for a UVW Map, under mapping parameters, first select "Shrink Wrap", then proceed with selecting "Box". You can adjust the mapping size under the U V & W tile below. I'm not sure if this helps, but it usually solves my mapping problems both under scanline and vray.
Jason Matthews
I am not sure if this will work, but try to change the tile setting ot a larger number like 2, and the adjust the material scal accordingly. I don't know if this will work, but it seems like a mapping problem in the geometry.
William Alexander
Carlos, If the areas in question, in shade, are the same material as the illuminated areas, it may very well be just an anti-aliasing problem. Render out at twice the size and see if this disapears, and or try supersampling of the material in question.
