Interior Scene, Work In Progress...

I'm not sure what program you are using, but when I'm working with reflective materials in Cinema4D there is an option in the Reflection settings called "Dispersion". That controls how blurry or sharp the reflections should appear. The higher the dispersion, the more blurry the reflection. Maybe your program has a similar option...?

Hi, i am learning uvw today and possibly tommorow along with texturing, also attempting to make a light fitting and all other scene props as i want to learn how to make everything myself rather than just import pre made models and textures,I will wait until i am professional for that (to save time in a productiuon envoiroment) so as to understand all of the diffrent aspects of this mighty programe:eek: I might also make a painting of that cunstable for my wall :D, Still not sure on the size of that mirror and might scale it down a bit,After i have repaired this picture i will move on to another as this was only meant to be just a room with all objects made by me to test out my skills and not any set design :D. i am hoping to do a restaurant or modern living room next with much more detail and direction/purpose.;)

you are doing good for just starting out. i am also considered a beginner but been messing around with max for a little over a year and finally starting to really understand it. now if i can get my images to look like i understand then that would be even better haha..

wouldn't the wood grain on the bed go the other direction.. i would try it and see if it looks better .. post your max file and lets see what other beginners can do with this file just would be fun to see what other people can make out of this scene.

O.K You asked for it !!:D But remember this is my first project in max i am new to this:p.

Probably better than me !!.Yep the trees do grow funny round here:rolleyes:.I have personally moved on from that image now,It was all created in a short space of time and all objects made by me,even the extra large bed:D.As for the view that was nothing more than a temporary backdrop and a rather dodgy one at that.also no uvw maps.

I am working on a new project which i have designed in acad and taken to max,It will be a nice 2 bed house fully furnished and properly textured with a full animated walk through and around the property,Then some pshop trickery.
