Crazy Homeless Guy
You need to watch your RAM usage. I guess you have 2 gigs of RAM, and it is crashing every time it passes a certain point. Also, textures can eat a lot of RAM, you need to be careful in how you use them.
Mr Max
Thnx for the help buddy! Actually I have 4 GB of ram but the pc is actually using only 2 Rams cos it shuts down when the rendering memory usage exceeds 1.5 GB !! so I guess I need to upgrade to a 64 bit windows. But could you please give me a hint how I can use my textures wisely cos I'm struggling with my file a lot! thnx again
Crazy Homeless Guy
Do you have the 3gig switch enabled? Even with the 3 gig switch, Max will shut down when 2.3-2.5 gigs are accessed.
