iraj2829
Hi All, I am wondering if anyone knows good books that could be inspiring in terms of illustration, graphic and presentation? I found "Noise Four" by Attik is an effective book but i am looking for more... Cheers,

timillustrator
There are quite a lot, the American AIP catalogues are good for an overall selection as is their website. My favourite graphic Illustrator (Old School Airbrush) is ErnHelmut Jackoby. Hugh Ferriss (!930'2) is also very inspiring
ihabkal
the best inspiration is to visit online galleries like the one on CGarchitect, and the websites of the major 3d firms, a bonus is that it is free too. I have spent so much money on books, to find out that every year major firms surpass themselves in quality, and last year's illustrations are no match to this year's. And illustration gallery books are more about advertisment than education, there is no guaratee that you will find nice illustrations in them (I can name some disappointing books I have that I imported at twice the US price to find they are not worth their paper weight). ihabkal
Could you name them? I am afraid not, I am thinking some artists on this forum might have work published in them. It wouldn't be nice...
timillustrator
OK, I've bought one or two disappointing books but found some others to be great. I have a few of the ASAI Architecture In Perspective books which I got cheap and are really nice. I was looking to buy some more but they cost about $35 each plus $25 postage so I was a bit reluctant.
