landrvr1
Whenever I have a plain white studio scene using a VRay Plane, I notice I get this very odd grid peeking through at my shadow areas: This has really become a nuisance. I've searched high and low, and can find no info on this. Anyone know what's going on, and how to eliminate the problem? I'm running IR/LC. Be happy to post full settings if needed... Oh, I should mention that a standard Max plane works just fine. Edited December 25, 2008 by landrvr1
Tommy L
Sounds like a dumb question, but what was the material you used?
BrianKitts
Can you recreate the problem in another environment? My guess would be something with the studio setup, what are you using? Could be the vrayPlane has a problem interacting with something in your studio. Care to post the scene for investigation?
landrvr1
I completely forgot to circle back to this thread and wanted to do so in case someone else encounters this problem. Tommy L: Not a dumb question at all. That was exactly the problem, lol. My material was a small jpg that, when replaced with another, solved the grid problem. Some issue or another with the original image. Tnx for the assist.
