continuous feed in hp design jet 110plus not continous

Recommended Posts

recently we have had reload the roll paper in the back for every sheet when it used to be continuous... don't mind to much except that when you have to plot 50 sheets for a set it is a lot of trips to the plotter..

we have it going thru the bottom slot.

looked thru the manual and don't see how to chang this.

also we tried the single feed thru the front.. we have to do it about 5 times before the plotter accepts it...

any ditto's out there...

Ray, I have had the same plotter for four years and have not experienced this problem. I use roll paper and single sheet feed of all sizes. If the roll is not aligned properly it will spit it back at you, but this rarely happens for me.

Have you tried contacting HP?

You do know this is what they term a "throw away" plotter...meaning it is next to impossible to get it repaired!

well I would suspect something is broken on it. it was making a loud squealling noise every time it plotted when the next swath of paper was pulled in...

strange it was working just fine except for the noise...

we do have the paper aligned and in the right slot...but

it still is a constant reload..

the front load is just a big pain...

I did go to hp printer forum but no replies yet maybe there is no answer for this...
