sg3d
Hey, I need to reproduce lighting like the one seen here, the description of this type of light is a mono frequency lamps that emit such a narrow frequency that colours other than yellow and black are invisible. Any ideas of how, have been looking through IES libarys and doing some testing but as of yet no joy. Any help much appreciated. Thanks

ihabkal
I think it would be easier to tweak the colors in photoshop or after effects to match this effect. They already have presets for other similar effects in after effects...And I think the color is more orange than yellow? Arnold Sher
direct light with adjusted vray shadows for fuzziness effect... Vey doable...
Peter M. Gruhn
I'm in the middle of a render so can't play and don't even use VRay, so... ;-) Anyway, I'm curious what kind of no joy you're having. I'd have thought "use a highly saturated light" would pretty much solve the problem. Aside: I think the fuzziness is not shadow but reflection. Both the reflections and shadows would be soft - reflections governed by floor surface and shadows soft due to a large light source (area light). Tim Nelson
It'd be simple in render terms. Use a spherical vray light with a yellow/orange hue, and then add fog/volumetrics.
