mi75
This is my first night shot so I'd love some C & C. Its not quiet finished yet as I still have a few little bits of detail to go. The car and plants are from a library so I can't take credit for those. Also I used a free HDRI for the sky in the background which is why its low res, I'm planning to buy some HQ ones in the new year. mi75
i see lights, but no light sources. Yeah I know, I still need to put the light fittings in. Its on the to-do-list
innerdream
Lookin good so far. The wood looks saturated, I would turn down the diffuse color. Is there a scale issue or is the house multi level?
mi75
The Saturation was done after in PS where I increased it 10%. I agree its about 0-5% too much. Straight out of max was better and I plan to re-render it tonight with the drain pipes, light fittings etc.......... As for the scale its a 1 story place on a sloping block, the garage side is 800mm higher than the left side. I got the idea and design from an Australian design magazine. innerdream
Maybe making it more obvious that there are steps down to the entry from the drive would help?

neil poppleton
For me change the aspect and increase the sky area of the shot and include a dramatic sky and second I think you are seeing too much garage door in the shot.
