Visual FX outside of London?

I know this site is focussed on 3d architectural however as the tools are so closely linked with that in the film and fx industries I wondered if anyone could help.

 

Does anyone know of any good studios located around the south of England. I live in Hampshire and would really love to be able to work somewhere which didnt involve a long commute to London everyday. I`m aware of a few around Bristol, such as Aardman but was interested if anyone knew of any others more local to me.

 

Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
