charter Posted January 6, 2009 Share Posted January 6, 2009 I normaly use the Import option to get my cad files into Max. It is best to strip out all the unwanted data (in autocad) and purge and audit the file before it is used. I also normaly set the origin to 0,0,0 so the data is easy to find and work with.
