STRAT
Can you have a look at the link below, and tell how do they produce the quality, good artists. good lighting/material set-up and good post production. and tell how do they produce the quality, and handel the polygon count in these models. Proxies in vray I know but , they seem just massive. you said it. vray proxy. this is what it's designed for. i recently testy proxy with a modestly poly count tree proxyed hundreds of thousands of times with ease. you wont really understand its capabilities until you properly use it. oh yeah. they probably got nice big speedy workstations too, not to mention the use of render farms is common second nature to most professional graphics houses. Nic H
^ what strat said, looks like a few hundered thousand polys of modelling, and HEAPS of evermotion plant / and tree proxies.
ronll
Nice stuff and I am also amazed at the apparent poly count. But there is something fantasy like about those scenes. One would almost expect to see elves, fairies and orcs walking thru them rather than real humans.
