help! scene is bleached out.

i have a problem with my scene. i load the file and render, its very okay. then i make some very minor changes like camera location or an extra chair, or an extra rpc person and the scene totally bleaches out!. over and over .....i have to reset max, or even close the program and re open to get the initial renderlook. is it possible my scene is loading saved irridiance maps or sthing like dat from a previous scene? cus im using presets i developed over time and applying them to my scenes....also tried the evermotion interiors cd. how exactly does one reuse their settings? do i just load my model in their environ and tweak? or are there ir maps saved that i have to reset? thanksalot.

Perhaps your file is just corrupt? Does the same problem occur in a different scene?

 

Try creating a new scene with the same V-Ray settings and then merge all of your content into it. I have used this approach succesfully with files that were open during a system crash.
