bwilson Posted September 23, 2003 Share Posted September 23, 2003 I am reaching out for some assistance. I am getting blotchy spots in my shadows only when using the light tracer. I modified some settings such as increasing rays/sample, filter size and increased the mesh on the surfaces affected but with no success. See image below for example. You will notice the spots in the shadows, but not where the sunlight hits directly. Light setup is light tracer, with sunlight system and one skylight (using default skylight settings, with bounce set to one in the light tracer settings). bwilson Posted September 23, 2003 Author Share Posted September 23, 2003 yea man, found the problem... turned off the Adaptive Undersampling in the light tracer settings and it's nice and clear now.
