Well, that's not dual quad, it's just a quad, and that 2.2GHz Phenom is not as fast as an Intel quad would be. (A newer Intel quad would be much faster.) Also I'd be concerned about the 450W power supply.

I don't know what you'd expect to pay in GBP or how much the VAT was on it but, before taxes, I'd expect $711 to buy me the same spec only with at least an Intel Q6600, and that's USD with tax included.

Hi,

Here are my opinions on what you have specced mate:

1x AMD PHENOM X4 QUAD CORE 9550 2.2GHZ RETAIL - Go for the Intel Q6600 as AJLynn suggested.

2X ELIXIR 2GB 800 DDR2 PC6400 - I would personally try and get some Crucial memory as if the memory goes wrong it only takes around 48hours for a RMA from Cruical, its an awesome service and I have used it.

1X X-BLAIZE BLACK 450W PSU NEON S/W+FAN - I would go with this power supply personally - Corsair TX 650W ATX2.2 SLi Compliant PSU

1X ASUS MCP560 M2N SLI - I would go for this board - Asus P5Q Intel P45 (Socket 775)

As for the graphics unless your doing really large complex models then one of the graphics cards should be enough as it will only be used to move around your viewports and not for rendering.

Obviously I don't know your budget but this is what I would go for, I have actually been debating upgrading myself and would go for those bits.
